HABS girls will do their exam online using Zoom

HABS girls have sent an email stating that their exams will go ahead but they will be done online using Zoom. DG

Based on the email, my understanding is, the school will not change the content of the exam and children just need to do it online. HABS normally has English ( comprehension and big write) and math. Does it mean children need to type the answer to the comprehension and big write on the computer?

It is not big write. It is composition which is several different options that might be offered such as : Letter, Diary, Descriptive Writing, Creative Writing and it will be done online. DG

They have already sent details of the next round this evening. They are already marking the assessments and will start interviews next week with everyone hearing about their interview by Saturday 23 January.

They have clearly stated that the order of interviews is not indicative of performance as a rumour appears be going around that the top candidates hear first which is certainly not true. DG

Thanks DG, that is certainly what the email says. I can only assume then that, ahead of marking papers, they have made an initial assumption that (for example) they will interview all candidates that scored above 75%. If they don’t find enough as they get through the papers, they will lower the threshold. What if 75% is too low (again, the percentage is entirely made up of course) and they end up with way too many interviewees?
What other process might they follow?

Has anyone received emails about Habs Girls interviews which is supposed to start this week? We know that all candidates should hear from them by the end of this week. Getting a bit worried
