Re: Allocations
We’ve just received our letter so pleased I didn’t have to stay up tomorrow night
Re: Allocations
Well done to your girls Mumto3girls! I have to say I would be too nervous to tell other DD that she has a Pates place. What if it is just that the other letter didn't make it into today's post? Might be worth having a quiet word with Ribston DD to give her a heads up, so she has a bit if time to process it before you officially receive the results.

Re: Allocations
Thanks so much! We thought we would, but doubt started creeping in.
It was our 2nd choice as we had Pates as first, so hoping for those that haven’t heard you have been allocated your 1st Choice.
Well done Mumto3girls as well.

Re: Allocations
Fingers crossed Polgara. I haven’t heard anyone that has received a letter that has been allocated their first choice. Quite a few have received comprehensive schools this morning, starting to feel more real now!
Re: Allocations
No post man so far for us : (
Has anyone had any results for SHS or RH to suggest how far they went down to?

Re: Allocations
Great news Mumto3Girls and Future2020.
This might be the only time I'm glad to get a letter about a price increase- it means we got post delivered today and no schools letter, so still hopeful for first choice and not wondering whether it was just that we didn't have a delivery.
I did have a quick word with DD because a few of her friends either didn't qualify for grammars or have applied for the comprehensive which we are in catchment for but they aren't, and it tends to be oversubscribed. So I wanted to head off any worries about us not hearing today. "What was my first choice again?" Not too worried then!

Congratulations to your DCs Mumto3 and Future, and good luck to everyone else!
DD should get 2nd choice unless there was a huge shift in popularity, so really curious about the lowest ranks offered...
