Accelerated year 10 GCSEs

Do any of the Trafford grammar schools support accelerated year 10 GCSEs?

I'm thinking some subjects could be tackled in year 10 leaving more time for the other subjects in year 11 or leaving time for an extra GCSE in year 11.

I'm thinking my DS could get French, maths and physics done in year 10.

I think very few schools do early GCSEs these days as it's not recommended. The universities want to see that they can sit them all in one go (in usual times!). Some do maths early & then do another maths qualification in year 11 I think. Having said all that, it's some years since mine sat GCSEs so someone might have more up to date information.
