A sad story

Hang on, hang on. One person caught doing drugs at Harrow and half the comments on this piece are 'close the evil private schools'. Be reasonable. The headline 'boy at comprehensive school expelled for doing skunk' would be as newsworthy as 'fish discovered in the sea'. Or are you class-ridden, envious and spiteful people so concerned with your own agendas that you are setting different standards for those in private and public education? Do you believe that private school boys should behave better? Why? If this were a boy from a state school, would you be crying out for closure of all state schools?

Methinks you do protest too much!
Well said! This article has more to do with the child and how his family have brought him up to have low self-esteem.[/quote]

I wonder how the teachers have 'turned a blind eye' to the existence of this 'club' ...

Children are very clever, but, every day state school teachers turn blind eyes to severe bullying and drug taking. Independent schools does not mean perfection.
