Bexley 2021 exam results

Post by nikhilus2000 »

Hi, does anyone know when do Bexley results come out? Also, I heard that the results are sent to child's primary school first. Is that true? Found that a bit odd and had not seen it with any other exams.

According to https://www.bexley.gov.uk/sites/default ... t-2021.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 'by 6th of October'

The same document also says that results are sent to Headteacher too. It seems like Kent that this is for the opportunity for the Head to request a review, unlike in Kent the Head can't request a review prior to the final cut of results, but only after.

Bexley results are out. DS got 237. Not in the top 180 (244 and above). Does anyone know what the chances are for admission if you are not in the top 180 with that score for out of catchment?

Depends how far out of catchment you are. It’s either pass (score after this is irrelevant) and proximity to school or 180. How far are you from your nearest Bexley school?

Do check the distances as per the booklet which will give you an idea of what they've been in the past.

Just a general note for the thread (not directed at any individual) bear in mind there may be others who haven't passed. For Bexley apart there is generally no need to post a score, just refer to pass/not pass/within a few marks of pass or top 180.

edited as cross posted with Muggle who provided a far more helpful link and post!

Nikhilus, the distances accepted in recent years are on page 14 of the Bexley Admissions booklet:

Hi, just received Bexley results in this morning, my son got 218, just 4 above pass 214, we live outside the catchment now, is there any chance that we get a place if we move to the catchment before 10th December?

page 15 https://www.bexley.gov.uk/sites/default ... 2-2023.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; gives information about address verification - the key when people move in a short space of time is that they cannot always prove that they have completely severed links with the previous property
