Would hugely peoples opinions on DAOvs Habs girls.
DD had very high ranking at DAO and has been invited to Habs girls for an interview this week.
We are so unsure of the pros and cons
In many ways the all roundedl great facilities aspect is similar but the gcse results differ significantly which I’m sure just reflect the partially selective element of DAO but has worried us as to whether the school will push DD to achieve in the same Habs will…
As a parent really want DD to achieve her full potential and she seems very able but is also sporty and we don’t want her in an extremely overly critical environment….
Have heard such great things about DAO but nothing to really discuss the teaching ( assessments, how they prepare for GCSE, mocks, do they cover curriculum etc)
Essentially are they as well oiled an exam machine as habs girls?

What else do the schools offer your daughter? Do you want an exam machine or a school that nurtures your daughter as a whole human being - of course both schools may do both of those things.
