How are we all? Not very much going on this end of the board, is it that we're so incredibly laid back, or perhaps sworn to secrecy
Torbay exams that seemed so far off are beginning to loom!!!
We then have to wait 4 months for the results, I really don't know how i'm gonna manage!

Hi Becs

Glad to see you're still going for it. Yes I think you had it right with your first assumption - it's "sworn to secrecy in Torbay"!

Hi Beccs and Katie

Its me aka Surfwidow here. Just popped in to say hello. Third child now in grammar in the Channel Islands but my friend's son started at Colyton this term. Will be phoning her to find how it is going. I don't tend to look in very often as I feel I now have to 'view' websites on choosing universities :? for eldest child. Hope exam preparation is going well!

Hi again.

University! - and we thought the 11+ was a worry.
I'm sooooo relieved not to have to go through this again.

Well that's one solution - you woudn't really - would you? !! :D
It does get you going when you see the impossible criteria being applied, albeit well intentioned.
I could write a book on the subject! Might just do that!

But Katie my Mum used to say "the road to **** is paved with good intentions" 40 something years ago I didn't quite know what she meant ... now I do and I am sorry!

Good luck to all in Devon!
