New Bedtimes

Post by zorro »

Hi everyone,
Can I just ask what time you are all sending your DC to bed now that they have a much tougher schedule .
I think 9pm is reasonable - what do you guys think?
Thanks,
Zorro

Is this for year 7?

We settle for 9pm - seems to work OK, DD bouncy at 7.00am

morning schedule is actually easier than year 6 - leave house 40mins later.

Yes Y7.
Lucky you, my Ds now has to get up @ 06.30 instead of 07.45.
He has to be on school coach at 07.30 and doesn't get home until 18.30 ( instead of 16.00). Quite a shock to his system ( and mine!!)

Same here - my son goes to school at 7.15 and gets home 4.30 - a much longer day for him...and me.. plus we took our daughter to university yesterday and so she isn't here today and I hate it!!

DS is in bed by 9pm and up in the morning at 6.45. The bus is 7.50 in the morning and will drop him off at about 4.50.

I am missing seeing him for those extra few hours a day. :(

Happymum,
I know what you mean.It seems all I do is give him his dinner, dispatch him upstairs to do his prep and then nag him to go to bed!
Oh well, at least there's the weekend!

But don't they seem to go so much quicker these days?
