Hi,

My daughter would be appearing for her 11+ this year. We live in Newbury park, ilford, London. Which schools of CSSE should we put in our choices for her to be able to commute from home? I think Chelmsford is within commutable distance. We are of course putting Woodford county as our first choice. I am not sure about other schools. Are there any other grammar schools towards central London (commutable) which we should try as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated

There is a coach from Newbury Park that goes to Chelmsford. There is another coach that just started this September. It picks up at Ilford, Seven Kings, Chadwell Heath, Romford and Harold Wood and goes all the way to the Westcliff and Southend grammar schools i.e Westcliff High School for Boys / Girls and Southend Grammar School for Boys and Girls.
