If you're moving address shortly
You must use your child's current main address when you apply, even if you’re moving shortly after the closing date for school applications.

If you’re moving after you have submitted your application, you will need to send proof of your move. This proof could be a copy of your exchange of contract or a signed and dated tenancy agreement.

You must tell us about the move and provide proof by 10 November 2023 for secondary school applications and 26 January 2024 for primary school applications.

After these dates we will use the original address given to us at the time of application to calculate the home to school distances.
so 10th Nov with all the evidence
Thank you for your help. Can you share the source URL too?

Hi .. does anyone know how we find out how many boys passed in Medway? I know 847 children passed but I would like to know boys? I’ve emailed Medway council but they come back to me in 20 days ..

The reason I am interested is because my son passed and I’d like him to have local friends. I think we have roughly 500 grammar school places in Medway for boys (maths, Holcombe and half of Rainham mark as mixed) so in theory if half of the children were boys who passed the majority of Medway grammar school places will go to children in Medway .. if more boys passed than girls even more local children will go to Medway grammar school.

Does anyone have any idea or how to find this out before 20 days as the deadline is 31st October to submit our application and by then I still wouldn’t have had the information through from the council ?

Thankyou 😊😊😊

I am not sure how knowing how many boys passed in Medway will affect what you put on the CAF (or perhaps I am missing the point :? - quite probable, haven't had my mid afternoon cuppa yet). Many who passed may opt to go elsewhere anyway and you don't know what order the others will have put on the CAF.
Best to put the schools in the genuine order of preference

@ hermanmunster Thank you for the welcome. Sorry for the delay in response. Been a bit overwhelmed with stuff.
I was hoping - RMGS, Rochester GS, or Fort Pitt GS.
