It worries me that their lack of communication or desire to help parents or answer questions is what the school is like in day to day running. Newport Girls and Wolves Girls have communicated upper and lower ranges and wolves girls have an open event for girls who passed the qualifying score. I will be putting Adams down but I just think it’s unfair especially when the LEA only allows 3 preferences.
It is a shame the LEA only allow 3 preferences. However if it's any reassurance, as a parent I have found that Adams are normally very good with day to day communications and their responsiveness to parents. :)

I have already submitted the preferences.

Information Evening - Becoming Fully Co-Ed from September 2024.

It is thirty years since we went co-ed in the Sixth Form and we are very excited to be going fully co-ed from September 2024. Congratulations to your daughter ******** on achieving the required pass mark of 221 in the entrance test. We hope Haberdashers’ Adams will be her school of choice as we move towards full co-education.

We are delighted to invite parents and their daughters

I wonder any boys have received any letters from Adam’s, so far the only email I received was from Queen Mary’s where my son took his exam

Hi All,

Regarding Adams, does anyone know if the allocations are 50:50 for boys and girls or, is it once all pp and catchment school places are filled, it’s simply based on score. I’ve seen nothing to suggest it’s an equal split but others I’ve spoken are under the impression it’s an equal divide. Can anyone help?

Thanks

I was thinking about this yesterday I can’t imagine it not being equal split otherwise they might end up with a girls only year group!
