Dartford GS, Judd School

Hello everyone,
New to the forum and finding the feedback, discussion in threads really useful.
My son passed Kent with a good OCC score and I would love some feedback on Judd and Dartford GS please - pluses, differences etc. We would need to travel to both - about 45 minutes. Our closet grammar is St Olaves but a long shot for most, though he will sit the second stage exam.

Hi, no personal experience of either apart from visiting Judd and my husband visiting Dartford. They're both impressive and sought after schools, but maybe consider factors like IB vs A Levels, mode of travel (coach (maybe cheaper) vs train (more flexible)), focus on languages (which Dartford makes a big thing of), student mix and whether your son will be one of many travelling a distance (Dartford draws half its intake from OOC, mostly from London, so is a different mix to Judd which is majority West Kent), whether you might consider moving idc and which you'd prefer. Many thanks for your reply Sorrel - really good points to consider - and as you said both impressive schools - but these differences (i.e. IB vs A Levels) were what we considered and looked into much of last week. Good luck to you too!
