Allocation of Places

My daughter has passed her 11+ for KGGS but we are out of catchment. I was wondering if anybody knew what the probability of her being offered a place is please? I have rang KGGS to ask how many passed in total and of these how many were in catchment but they couldn't tell me. Does anybody know what has happened historically or have any other information? Thanks very much.

Hi Sal,

There is no "catchment" as such. As it is a Community Grammar driving distance will be the final decider if the school is oversubscribed. I am not sure how far out the distance went last year. You could try asking the Admissions Department at LCC directly as they will hold this information. If you have any difficulty I'll try and get the info for you. The school has not always been over subscribed but things can and do vary year to year.
