Just typical...

Post by Ed's mum »

Ed has just broken up for the week and he has just developed a stomach bug.Poor little man...
His dad is on duty right now, watching over him as he lies in bed looking white.
Two hours ago he was racing around, so excited that he could have a rest - now it's enforced.
I hope everyonelse's child has a healthy half term.

Poor Ed. I believe there's a lot of it about. Hope he feels better soon.

Hope you don't catch it!! I work in a school and I have had something nasty for about 2 weeks now, so hoping half term will see an end to it.

Please don't feed my phobia!! He licked my nose tonight - sucked it actually - and I am now dreading what I might get. I am a complete vomit phobic (not joking either).

Poor Ed, probably his wee body recuperating from his very busy 6 weeks.

Have a glass of whisky/brandy/gin (possibly all three!) - that should kill off any germs.
Aren't you a primary school teacher - how can you combine that with being a vomit phobic? :?

Easy peasy, the TAs do all of that!! (sorry if that offends anyone, it's the truth though!)

I have been known to say "Ugh, don't cough without covering your mouth", or "Please remember to wash your hands", or "you were sick this morning? Right, your mum/dad will have to come and collect you".
I am a genuine vomit phobic.

We are TA's not VA's what a flipping cheeck, it offended me.

Why do we bother when there are teachers like you about?

Yes, I am exactly the same, and like you I used to leave Dad in charge if possible on these occasions. I tried to watch a TV programme recently about someone being (successfully) cured of a vomit phobia, but I ended up hiding behind the sofa with my eyes closed.
