DS (and similar) GAMES

Post by Rose petal »

We have just bought Professor Layton and the Curious Village and it seems to me to be a fun way to practice NVR. Does anyone have any suggestions of other DS Games that are good 11+ practice, obviously the brain training games will be but as there are quite a few of these around do you have any thoughts on which is best 11+ practice.

I have found Maths Training brilliant for mental maths.

You can download play with another DS to do the 100 cell calculation which makes it a lot more fun for them, especially if they beat Mum or Dad!

The great thing is you can adjust the difficulty so even younger members of the family can play.

Will be interesting to see what else comes up..........

Hi there

Can you tell me what the name of the Maths game is. Sounds like something that would enhance my dd's skills in a fun way.

Hi

Its called Maths Training by Dr Kageyama - The hundred Cell Calculation Method.

I found it quite freely available in online stores, I don't think i'm allowed to name them on this site.

Hope your Daughter likes it !
