Post by LuluQueen »

Everyone, after months of gruelling labour for the Tiffin Girls', how did your DD's find the test?

Eager to know,

Lulu Queen - how did your DD''s go?

My son took for the boys and found the NVR extremely hard.

Yes, about the same story. DD came out looking quite positive, answered all questions in time, wasn't too sure about a few in VR, but overall fine.

Crossing my fingers and toes for her acceptance!

Good, I hope everything goes according to plan! I think we get the results on the 2nd of March :x but if you applied online you'll get it earlier.

My daughter came out smiling but realised as she discussed that she had done a few mistakes in the VR.

Hey,
how are the scores worked out-80 questions in vr,nvr each. total=160. But how do they standardise to 141 totals and arrive at the average score?.
Although I keep saying to myself -its all over, sometimes it looks like it will not be over till march!

The details will all be explained here...:

Basically, you cannot add the scores of the VR and NVR together just like that. They are two different things of different difficulty. They standardise it to make it fairer with age.

Dear Parents,

I know it may not be the right time for you all to reply to this one.

It's been very helpful to read through all the post. I've been looking for a Tiffin Tutor for my daughter for long, but no sucess.

Would anyone please PM me your advise?

Many thanks.

Meg
