I wonder what has gone wrong, obviously resources available to the children will be reduced.

Perhaps it's time parents asked a few pertinent questions before digging into their pockets. I for one will contact my class rep.

We've now had a reassuring email from the chair. So things are not perhaps as bad as the Standard suggests! But please can anyone who knows what's going on post some information? It's hard to know what went wrong and who is to blame.

According to the Times, the chair of governors said "Because of the lack of staffing in the finance office, a lot of transactions simply had not gone onto the system. So nobody in the school was aware of the overspend against the budget until the end of December or early Januaryâ€

The school has an open letter from the chair of governors on their website. A new article seems to refer to a different letter to parents:
