Bursary interviews

Post by FLITCH6 »

Does anyone have any knowledge of Bursary interviews for parents?
i.e. what sort of things they are likely to ask.

Sorry, we (as parents) were never interviewed. We filled in a lengthy form and had to agree (on the form) to whether we would feel comfortable being asked to speak with them if necessary. Not probably those exact words, but the gist of it was that we may need to speak to them. It was never required of us though.

Is it soon and are you being asked to take in specific details with you?

Hi Ed's mum. Thank you for reply. Our interview is soon, we have not been asked to take anything in. We are guessing that we are probably being vetted.

Quite likely. Good luck with it. Perhaps leave your pearls at home?

We've applied for a bursary from one of the schools (OH forgot to tick the box on the other one!! )

We were just asked for financial details - no interview from the parents.

bursary waiting lists

Post by shalom »

We recently had a interview with the bursary office and dd has been offered a place and also on the waiting list for an assisted place which is what we really want. First time going through this process. Has anyone gone through this? Looking for advice - as we all really like this school in London.
