Hi JuiaB,

I definitely will.
Did you select a Bucks or a Slough school for your first preference?

I read that the results should be with us on the 7th December by post. This was on a letter from our first choice slough school. My child sat both the bucks and berks test and the bucks result comes on Friday....4 days to go...getting very nervous.
What happens if the child passes both Bucks and Berks 11+ tests. We live in Bucks area ??

If you have a Slough school as first choice, then, providing that the child is eligible, he/she receives an offer from a Slough grammar .
But if you have a Bucks school as first choice, then the child receives an offer for a Bucks grammar, but also an offer from a Slough grammar. That's because the Slough grammar schools are foundation or voluntary aided, and they send their own offers.

Hi Catherine
I chose a Slough school first (St Bernards) and a Bucks school (Burnham Grammar) for second choice. I have a child already at St B's, hence first choice, and Burnham Grammar is up the road from where I live hence second choice. I would be thrilled with a pass from either....

Hi JuliaB,

Here's a quote from Slough Grammar site:

>> Year 6 children at school outside of the Slough area and children moving into the area late in Year 6 may be able to take the 11+ test after the official test date. If you find yourself in this situation please contact us to discuss the possibility of late testing.<<

I do not know whether late tests are the same as the tests taken on the official date.

Best of luck for all your results.
