I was expecting my DD to be called for an interview after her indie exam rather my DH and i were called for an interview. I am very baffled at the moment. We applied for a bursary as our income is low, the interview was with the bursar. Is it possible for my DD to be offered a place without an interview?
I suppose it depends on the school, the age of the child and how well she did in the exam. If she doesn't get an interview then they may have observed her during the time she spent at the school and feel that was sufficient - unless it was only an exam she did.
Thanks a lot T.I.P.S.Y for your reply, the bursar told us she did very well in the exams. She is an august baby and she did an interview before doing the exams. I was worried because i thought the interview was very important.
T.i.p.s.y i need your opinion on this, if i had to make a choice between JAGS and Christ Hospital for my bright DD, which one would you recommend. She is in a state primary school at the moment.
Sorry to butt into this, but Tipsy could you also offer some advice to me please??
My son has had his interviews for Trinity and Whitgift schools, you seem to know alot about most independents so would be grateful for your views on those two. I prefer Trinity and DS & DH prefer Whitgift.
Is the christ hospital result out?? my DS also sat the residential exams. Although he has been offered a place in another Indie i am still waiting to see if he does pass the CH. I am a bit confused as to which one to accept if he does get the CH one.
