Is the ranking that got in much lower last year due to priority of fam? So someone with a lower ranking of 420 but fsm would have got a place over someone not on fsm... but a ranking much higher say 390? Just wondering why last year those ranking much lower than previous years got a place.

Hi Starmum
The sibling rule doesn't apply until the last place at Crossley Heath, so that wouldn't explain the jump there. Could it be the increase in places overall at Crossleys, NHGS and Heckmondwike?

I've just read that Royal Mail have a strike planned for two days... 19th and 20th October. What happens in this case... do we get them late?

ask the LEA - they made alternate arrangements on 2007/8 when there was a strike - results at school for IC schools and at the LEA office for others
