Looking for a tutor for a younger dc to prepare for Latymer exam. I'd greatly appreciate recommendations. Hoping to find small group tuition or one to one, preferably not a big tuition centre. Could you please advise me what sort of prices to expect for tuition in a small group or one to one and how many hours per week should be enough to cover maths, vr and comprehension/writing please. I have seen another forum member quoting £90 per hour which seems a bit extreme. :?

Thank you!

I think you’re quoting me! We found rates £47 going to the tutor or £60 in our home - neither are available for us this year. Both were specialist SEN tutors offering 1-2-1. The £90 was a specialist SEN agency and although they had spaces (wonder why?!) they weren’t 100% focussed on 11+ and were combining tutoring with “therapy”.
