Hi, I was just wondering if anyone’s child has sat the 12 plus.

My son sat his 11 plus in September 2018, he came short of 3 points, I have submitted for a selection review I have put in for a selection review, but just wondering if it is not successful.

I am now thinking about starting the 12 plus, I was just wondering if there is a criteria to meet in order to sit the 12 plus for Buckinghamshire.

Does the SATs results have anything to do with 12 plus.
Do they have to achieve greater depths in SATs in order to sit the 12 plus.

Thank you.

There are no academic entry requirements for the central Bucks CC test, which applies to most of the schools - full information here: https://www.buckscc.gov.uk/services/edu ... roduction/

If the school you are interested in is not listed there, you will need to consult its own admissions policy. From memory, though, I don't believe any of them now set academic requirements for Late Transfer testing.

The biggest issue though, apart from qualification, is the (non) availability of places. All the schools were fully subscribed this year, and several of them were over-subscribed after appeals were heard.
