Well, I’ve just been sent a delightful email from
Buvcks claiming we haven’t yet accepted DS’s place and “if we don’t contact them to accept it by 12th April it will ne taken away amd reallocated”….. so I’m guessing they are chasing up replies now. ready for the second round publication.
(Apologies to anyone waiting, we HAVE accepted the place, did it straightaway through our borough council, Inpresume Bucks haven’t liased with them, so I’ve sent Bucks the screenshots of that.)
Bit annoying and scary to get an email like that, though, as it makes you worry! anyone else had one??

Has anyone heard anything from RGS or SWBGS in the 2nd round?

Update from here: I got a reply from Bucks to say Slough forgot to inform them we’d accepted the place! I hope no-one else who’s Slough and has been given a BGS place has been similarly affected…. If you’re a Slough based BGS parent then double check your emails from the last 10 days to make sure you haven’t got a Bucks Schools email in your Junk folder stating that the place acceptance hasn’t been notified to Bucks …. and email them asap if you have such an email!

Hi Aethel

Hope you are well

That is definitely scary and to be honest not unexpected from Slough. During our looooong wait for a Bucks primary we encountered similar incompetence and in face found Bucks LA more helpful.

Unfortunately for us I did contact Bucks first and they confirmed our DC was not offered any place on 31 March :(

So now waiting for 12 May

Good luck to everyone still waiting

:D

I think the e-mails tend to be sent out towards the end of the afternoon

Hiya everyone

Sorry it's me again, we got our WL position and our 13th for BGS and 15th for John Hampden

I know it's an impossible question but do we stand any chance?

Thanks

Hi there

Did anyone get any offers today?

We didn't and are now waiting for the next round on 3 July :(

I'm assuming not much movement on WL
Good luck to those still waiting
