Although Durham University do not stipulate ‘English’ as being part of the exam. The Verbal Reasoning element largely entails English based questions – comprehension, ‘cloze’ tests, vocabulary questions and jumbled sentences.
The CEM contains a mixture of multiple choice standard format questions. Where possible use standard format material. Multiple choice papers can sometimes be used by omitting the answer sheet.
The software contains multiple choice questions; but provides valuable practice in the techniques.
