Whitgift 11+ sample English answers

Hi all

I cant seem to find the answers to the Whitgift English papers .Whitgift should have kindly published this on their website but No.

would anyone please kindly provide this especially the comprehension.

This is a maths paper in the maths section - did you mean to post this here?

oops sorry! I meant English and only the comprehension answers and punctuation if you could

Hi Mittleme,
Whitgift don't post answers to their sample papers (they've been the same papers for at least 7 years, if not longer), I guess this is because they are there to give parents an idea of what to expect rather than children learning how to answer a particular question.

In any case, I think your son will benefit most from talking through the sample poem with you and then going through each of the options (as the comprehension is a multiple choice one) and discussing why each of the possible answers may, or may not, be correct. It's more about learning how to understand a text rather than which is the correct answer.
