Hi all i have got still year ahead, we only do the bond books with all the subjects and first aid book in English for the practice. Is that suitable for the 11+ in birmingham??

Hi, anybody know anything about mock test centres? Do we have to book the test in advance? How many mock test we have to do it? Thanks.

Do not waste your time and money. My kid got to CH almost without private tutor(just few month before exam) and had never sit any mock exams before 11+. Everything you can do yourself at home.

Yea, my child got into grammar with a couple of test papers too....amazing how these type of stories always surface a few weeks after the results!!

I agree - CHB is certainly full of amazing boys who only ever did one test practice paper on the back of an envelope :lol:

I did not say that he did not have any help. Just we spent around £700 for everything and it includes bond assesment papers. He did not sit ANY mock tests at all.

I know many kids whose parents spent thousands of pounds for private school, tutor, kumon and other sorts of thing were not succesfull. We just did DIY.
