Some days I think they will be ok. Others I feel they have totally flopped the one. They have provided no real feedback to go by. I feel they will miss out by a few marks only. Maybe about 215 end score

Bob did a prediction for me on a PM using his formula. I'll let you know if he was right or not
We need good enough for FW.
DD has not been at all forthcoming, so I am at a total loss as to how she has done.
If she doesn't get FW, we still need about 210 for Alcester

I must be going mad - I started thinking of GCSE's. What do they give you on the 11+ if you have completely messed the paper up and not answered anything??
Do you get like 100 or a X or null result or something??

BTW following the goal discussion earlier, is that pronounced All Stir or ALL ces ter.
I hear brummies argue over how to pronounce Soli -hull vs people who would aspire to live their who say its SO -li- Hull
I don't trust people who say SO - li - HULL.
But I digress - Nervous fingers crossed, I really hope DC gets a result

Re: Just for fun - PREDICT the score!
I had a go using the normal distribution calculator http://onlinestatbook.com/2/calculators ... _dist.html again, plugging in the new mean of 200, a standard deviation of 37 (as I used for the Walsall consortium) and trying to get the same probability results as I did with the 358 score for Walsall. And I got 258. Might want to knock a few off for a completely slack summer. So I'm going for 245. *not really got a clue face*

S = 15(0 - 55)/12.5 + 100
You will get an SD score of around 68 if your raw was 0%
Re: Just for fun - PREDICT the score!
I am hoping Bob will come back and man up
I will tell you our tutor has predicted 253 for KE.
She predicted 373 for Walsall and he achieved slightly higher. My Walsall prediction was 368.
And I am going slightly higher than our tutor on KE. But again predicting is quite tough as there could be a lot of unknowns.
I shall let you know if we come anywhere close to these predictions next week. Always better to be positive

Too many variables involved to predict so I'm keeping out of this one!
How did you get a sd of 37 turtle girl? I thought for cem they tend to use between 10-15?
