I also asked the FO how the Handsworth WL had moved and they’d said no movement to me as well so like u, I also don’t understand how this can be the case if offers have been made off the list

Hi sillycart, she was 8th on the 22nd march. I did email them on friday but they replied back yesterday morning saying that there have been no changes but if Gemilib got an offer yesterday then that means the list must be moving.

I think it may be as Gemilib said, perhaps the list will be updated once formal offers have gone out.

Hi, I am new to this forum. My DD was 8th on the waiting list for Handsworth school on 25th 12:31 Pm. Today I sent e-mail to Foundation Office and they replied at 12:33 PM and said my daughter is 5th on the list.

Well done to all the children and parents who have been incredibly resilient in such a hard time. Everything but the 11 plus stopped!

I am new to the forum. My DD has been offered a place in Handsworth on National Offers Day.

When I emailed the FO back on the 23rd, I was told that some offers have already been made and that my DD was 44th on the waiting list for CHG. We’re happy with Handsworth, however, we live in Kingsheath and we are just over a mile away from CHG!

I have not contacted the office since then as we think she has an incredibly slim chance.
I will post some updates if I hear anything.

I wish all the best of luck to parents waiting for places to open up.
