Just curious to know what is the maximum expected score and what are the top scores in the past please. Thank you.

In the days of the old test, the maximum standardised score was 141.

There is no benefit to knowing the maximum standardised score, or "top scores" because in the Bucks system, scores of 121 and above are equivalent. A child scoring 121 is as qualified as a child scoring 141 (or higher if possible).

Edited to add: Experienced teachers will tell you that there is no correlation between 11+ score and eventual attainment at GCSE and A level, so it makes no difference to eventual attainment, either.

These aren’t typically given out I don’t think, and it might change for this year anyway as the test provider has changed.

It’s not really relevant to Bucks, as all that is important is the qualifying score of 121.

I've just remembered that you are the lady with the unusual living arrangements in Langley - a "paying guest"? You were seeking help on evidence of residency in Langley.

Have you properly researched the Bucks test requirements? Places are allocated on distance, not score (for those who qualify). Which Bucks schools were you looking at in particular?

Yes you will.

Almost every Bucks resident who scored 121 and over got a place last year - I think there were a handful that missed out because competition for places was so strong and they lived a little too far away, despite being in county.

Edited: Sally-Anne has the up-to-date information, so ignore my comment about people missing out.

Yes, you do.

All qualified Bucks-resident children received a GS place, although a small number could not be allocated their first preference school.
