Re: Bucks School- OOC
It is a pretty common occurrence that girls leave Kendrick during yr 7 as they just can't cope with the commute that their parents have signed them up to. This means that someone else with a less awful commute has been deprived of a place (unless they have stayed on the continuing interest list and are happy to go through a change of schools).

Alternatively one might say that it is massive pressure on a ten year old to have the entire family uproot so that they can go to a school perceived as giving them the best chance to 'fulfil their potential'. What if they don't?Blue_Marigold wrote:Lots of people are saying they are happy to move to wherever their child gets a place. It’s quite sweet in a way to put your child’s needs before your own but I think having a happy stable home life is very important to their over all wellbeing. Having parents who are stressed from long commutes will not be good for them in the long run. Every person in the family is equally important and whatever decision you make, you will have to take your own well-being into account.Naushad wrote:Sure, I live in Hampshire........Also happy to move if we get a place somewhere.
