Re: Filling CAF - Help !
We already checked for local primary admission Y6 waiting list and have applied for in-year.
Re: Filling CAF - Help !
You are aware that the address you put in the application must be the address that the child is living at permanently? Rather than the address they are going to be moving to once they get a primary school place?

Re: Filling CAF - Help !
How do people have the flexibility to land wherever in the country their DC happen to bag a school place? That always intrigues me..
So you’ve paraded your child around the south sitting tests in counties whose schools you know nothing about, and don’t even know how to apply for, have relocated at short notice on the back of a pass, and have taken your child out of school mid-year, without any guarantee there will even be a place for them to finish year 6?
Nothing on here surprises me anymore..

But isn't your preference for the Kent Grammars?iruvanji wrote:We already checked for local primary admission Y6 waiting list and have applied for in-year.
You can't satisfy the resident criteria for both Kent and Bucks!
As Scary mum pointed out, your child must live at the Bucks address as at 31st Oct 2019, BCC may well check (quite likely) by asking for solid proof of this, such as contacting their current school amongst other checks.
Re: Filling CAF - Help !
So you have already moved to Bucks! What happens if you don't get a place for her in a Bucks Grammar on March 2nd? You will almost certainly be allocated a non selective school, which you definitely don't want, It's too late for you to move to Kent to satisfy their resident criteria!iruvanji wrote:Our preference is to get into grammar schools. I hope she gets into and make Bucks as our home.scary mum wrote:You need to do what other people who have settled in Bucks do which is to put a couple of grammar schools& a couple of local upper schools, including one you can be sure of getting. It's something we always say to people moving to Bucks - be sure that there is another local school you are happy with in case you don't get the grammar school.
Or are you only here for the grammar schools?
Thanks everyone for your kind advises.

Any particular one, or just as many as possible?iruvanji wrote: Our preference is to get into grammar schools.
