I rang Admissions last Thursday - if you don't get your letter by next Wednesday then ring them and they'll send out another copy. They won't tell you anything over the phone or via email.
We didn't get our letter today but a friend did. She said the catchment for RGS has extended from 5.486 miles to 5.541 miles.
Looking forward to Tuesday with trepidation!

It has hardly gone out at all then - less then 0.1 of a mile...
Have you any idea about Dr Challoners GS' new catchment? Hope some posters get good news.

Nothing on Challoners yet - but I also know many people did not receive their letters yesterday.

If anyone does have information on Challoners, please do post here - I know several people who are waiting anxiously, all of them just fractions of a mile outside the March 2nd allocation. :(

Just spoken to admissions again as we still haven't received a letter. They told me we would only have received a letter if we were being offered a place. 'Waiting list' letters will not go out until the end of April, early May  !!!
I guess we can take from this that we didn't get RGS
My friend who got her son's letter on Saturday was offered John Hampden.

I've just checked my 'Guide for Parents' and on page 26 it states 'we will let you know your child's waiting list position one week after we have published details of the second round of allocations and one week after all subsequent allocation rounds'.
So I rang Admissions again  . This time they confirmed what the guide says - waiting list letters will go out at the end of this week. We should get them early next week.
The 3rd round of allocations will be published on 12th May. From then on the rounds follow on a 5 week basis.
Good luck everybody!

Admissions just emailed me to say the next two rounds of allocations will be posted on:
3rd round on 12th May
4th round on 12th June
Waiting list letters go out one week after each new allocation.
Hope this helps  .

That is first-class work Janey - well done, and thank you!

It is nice to know that there still elves in Bucks, even if Ambridge is now in retirement.
