No - my son took the 11+ last year and goes to Colyton Grammar in East Devon.

Hi Maryni,

My daughter took the 11+ last year and the English part was a piece of written work - a letter. This piece of work is used as a tie breaker if two girls get exactly the same marks. I suppose they would be looking at grammar and spelling.

Thanks for your reply-it's good to know what your expected to do as I wasnt sure if she had a comprehension exercise-education dept in plymouth didnt know-helpful!?!
