4) Teacher visit - a member of staff will come and visit your child in their own primary school and chat with them.

I have been meaning to ask you about this, is the visit for just an informal chat and should I warn my daughter about it ? When doest this visit happen ?

Very informal e.g "what subjects do you like.Do you play sports etc" The teacher also liases with the school.So many feeder schools- could take till July so I wouldn't mention it .Just a chat and part of the welcome process.

First hockey evening is Thursday 28th April - 6pm to 7pm. Subsequent sessions are 5th May, 12th May, 19th May and 26th May.

Note to our DDs is to be "at the gates of the astro-turf by 5:50pm".

Hockey evening a real success with DD !! She had forgotten what the school even looked like so it was well timed .....saying that a bit too famialr for me i had a cold sweat on as i passed her exam room ...
