ChelmsfordCHSG - New Testing Format for 2014 Entry
I understand that Chemsford County High School for Girls have opted out of the Consortium for the 2014 intake, choosing instead to use the CEM 11+ Entrance Test. CEM based at Durham university, is internationally recognised for it's pioneering work in developing monitoring systems for schools and colleges.
This would mean that, as things stand, if your DD wanted to have an opportunity for entrance into ChelmsCHSG and any other Essex Grammar from 2014, she would need to sit 2 different tests.
Does anyone have any further information to share? I don't know whether other Grammars have or are considering this.
