Based on last year it is not enough for WHSG, shame as if it had been last year those scores scored over 340 when standardised :(
Just received post and we are yellow for southend and orange for WHSG as yellow is at 329 argh! They have certainly reviewed the traffic light system this year. Gutted
Yes, standardised scores seem much lower this year - guess there were some amazingly high scores out there. My son scored 6 marks less than your daughter, but standardised score 11 points difference. Are you able to post the guidance sheet - our post usually arrives around 3pm! Thanks.

Sorry you feel this way over the results, but there is positivity there it seems.

English 51/60
Math 50/60
SS 362.35 OOC

Would she be safe to apply WHSG? If this one doesn't work, definitely she can get a placement from Woodford County as she's got 127.14. Still juggling between WCHG and WHSG...

I am happy for her but the thought of possibly 9 months of waiting if on waiting lists makes me feel for her, she really wants WHSG

What is the total mark a student can get in CSSE?
Son got result. 338.20.
We are in non catchment area for any of the schools.

My son got a 341.1.
Was that enough for an offer from KEGS last year? We are in catchment area.
Thanks.

Hi SchoolMum3G, unfortunately as indicated I only have the 2017 guidance sheet to go by, so not sure how much deviation there will be from these historical results. Do you have a copy of the 2017 sheet?
Oh! Sorry, yes I've got a copy of last years - my daughter sat the exam last year. I thought you meant you had seen this years guidance sheet :-)
That's OK. I just checked the CSSE website. They have a link to the 2018 sheet, but it is not working. Do you also have a child who sat this years exam?
Yes! My eldest is in Westcliff year 7. My middle daughter is hoping for 2018 entry then I have a year off and it'll be my youngest's turn!
