Hi there - does anyone know what the lowest ranked acceptance for Crypt was? My DS ranked 812 (in the second, amended, rankings) no offer!

If you call Glos County Council Coordinated Admissions Team on 01452 425407, they will tell you lowest allocated place ranking information, if you ask about a particular school. Hope ok putting telephone number on here - I found it on their website.

Oh how confusing! Not sure what to make of that. I asked about Pates and Tommies and they said lowest rankings 175 and 293 respectively.

There have been several above 512:

dadof2boys - 638
tinnyknickers - 641
Birdbridge - 734
MonaB - 767 (although I had a note from before than MonaB was Top 150 for Marling, so this may be an exception).

Is this PP coming into play again (at a later stage for Crypt)? If any of the above can confirm there were no special circumstances, e.g PP/ Looked After etc than that would be interesting).

Last year Crypt didn't even fill all their places going down to 800 (and filled the rest on appeal from people ranking over 800), so 512 seems less likely unless Crypt is much more popular this year (e.g. with girls now it's the second year).

Could she have given me the 'lowest' rank rather than the highest?

Mona B has previous said she was pp, but not sure about the others.
As Crypt originally only went down to 600 last year, maybe the last one admitted then was 512, and they gave you last year's data???

My dd's best friend has got Crypt and she was ranked somewhere between 750 and 800, so I think they have just told you rubbish!
