Brackenboo!! So pleased for you!

I think Ribston almost needs its own thread at this point. It certainly confirms for me it is easier for a girl to get a place (unless someone can tell me otherwise). I’m really surprised as Ribston is such a good school.

Yes, I think Crypt did this a couple of years ago when they were undersubscribed.

I think you are right Cazien, I remembered one of the Gloucs schools doing it but couldn't remember which it was

It was Crypt in 2018, when they went co-ed.

They qualified down to rank 600, but on allocation day had about 70 spaces unfilled. Shortly after allocation day they let anyone from rank 601-800 go on the waiting list as qualified.

I don't know numbers, but they will want to fill to PAN.
If memory serves me correctly, they were at least 20 places under PAN on allocations day.
I may be wrong but personally I think they will offer places to fill PAN now and not wait for appeals, as people do decide to reject their offers as well.
