also (I must learn to fit everything in one post!) it doesn't make any difference if you become a foundation school. You still have to have an independent appeal panel. The school did look at this after the last extra form but it wouldn't make any difference to future appeals. You only get to control your own staff and admission criteria but appeal system remains the same.
