New maximum 423 score!

I agree Doodles, especially when the score is so important to gain entry to some schools. It will create a lot of stress which could have been avoided!

Wasn't going to go to Skinners as DS1 is already there and it will be our first choice for DS2 - fingers and everything else crossed and "twizzling" permitting - but just may go now to see what Head says.

Ive just emailed KCC admissions stating that a HT announced this change in standardisation tonight and could they confirm it. Also asked for clarification re what this means for our kids. Will let you know what reply I get...

NB I am working tomorrow so may not be able to get on here until tomorrow eve (and we have Skinners tomororw eve).

I promise that this is the last time I will say this tonight but even if the increase in the maximum score doesn't impact on you I am still worried that there will be a twizzling in the score needed for each paper....

DH just come home and I've burbled this all to him and he's just said that "the number of people exceeding 420 won't change".
