Just to add... don't forget with trains that fares go up to adult at 16 so it does become very costly .

They can camp rough in the school grounds at 16.

You would think they could get a student railcard at 16 now they all have to stay in ed or training- mad that it is cheaper at 18 at the moment!

Tents on sale in millets at the moment!

LB to Ton is totally doable and the trains are way better than the dilapidated busses BUT are far more expensive. If cost is not an issue and the totally remodelling of LB Not going to put you off - then one train as you say so go for it. JUST Be aware that its not just for school - all your daughters friends will be all over Kent so better get her a YPR :)
