Likely cut-off scores for super-selective schools
Taking account of last year's cut-off scores and changes in Admissions policies for some schools for 2016 entry, what predictions do people have for the super-selectives?
My DS scored less than last year's final cut-off scores for Skinners' and Judd, but not by much, so I'm thinking Judd may be a possibility, as we are within the West Kent zone. I've looked at KCC's aggregate scores table by district and gender, but don't know what assumptions to make about boys choosing other schools.
Have people with high-scoring boys for 2016 entry chosen Skinners' over Judd on their SCAF forms or the other way round? Are there Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells based families who have chosen Maidstone or St Olave's or other schools above Judd and Skinners'?

I will PM you with a link to another site which has predicted these scores.

Chimera, one high scoring DS and one full marks DS and we chose Skinners' over Judd on both occasions even though it is a longer journey. Reason - personal preference and a better fit for both our very different ds's. Nothing against Judd at all and both DS have very good friends there who are enjoying it immensely.

Thanks, PWFiona and Doodles.
We're pretty sure we'll get TWGSB, which we'll be happy with, but we do have Skinners' and Judd higher on our SCAF form because of DS's Science orientation and their better facilities. March seems such a long way off for finding out First Round scores, and patience isn't my strong point!

I would but this forum's rules prevent it - sorry! I've seen external links, in particular to this rival site and the moderators would most likely take it down which is well within their rights.

Re: Likely cut-off scores for super-selective schools
I think it's OK to copy it....
The Judd 373
Dartford Boys out of area 367
Skinners 366
TOGS In area 355
TOGS out of area 373
With the change in The Judd admissions we could well see an in area number lower than this prediction and we anticipate an out of area number higher than this prediction. If the out of area number is pushed higher for The Judd then we may see a knock on effect with the Skinners' mark which could increase slightly.
