When to move to the next level?
Hi all,
DD is in Y4. She finished Bond 9-10 Verbal reasoning book-1 today. She has been scoring between 89 and 93% in most papers. My initial plan was to finish bond 9-10 book1&2, CGP VR practice book 9-10, CGP VR 10min tests before moving on to the next level (10-11).
Should I continue with this plan or move on to 10-11 books?

Re: When to move to the next level?
Have you been timing her? If not, then I would stay on level 9-10 and give her 30min to complete the assessments and see how well she scores. If you already time her and she scores above 85%, I would move her to the next level. I'm not a teacher or a tutor, just a DIY parent, but this is what I would do .

Which tests are you preparing for?

Moved to the Kent section for you.

One thing to consider is parking VR until later next year. I found mine picked up VR quite quickly and didn't need that much practice. I doubt we covered as much material (volume not difficulty) as you have planned. We left it quite late and worked on Maths and/or English to a greater extent. That's where we figured we could have greater impact.
Either way, it looks like continuing at the same difficulty will have diminishing returns.
Good luck.
