Yes, that is correct Headteacher reviews are done before the parents are informed of results.
You can out a grammar school on your CAF but won’t be allocated one. You then have a right to appeal for that school. It is a flimsy reason to move.

For anyone with these kinds of queries, I would strongly advise you to read the 'Admissions to Secondary School in Kent 2020' booklet, which is on the Kent website. All of the info on appeals etc is there in black and white. You don't always get accurate info on forums!
