I think this rule applies if the test is shared by the schools. For example, Kendrick, Reading boys and Slough consortium is using the same test (on the same day) so the first result criteria applies here.
From what I remember (berks forum), that are some 13 schools who will use the same test and it is on the same day (13th September).
Bucks Test is on 11th September and the schools, neither bucks nor berks, have mentioned about test results being shared. Probably, where the test and scores are going to be shared the schools have explicitly mentioned this on their websites/registration forms and the exam tends to be on same days.
