Open Evening Visits
Just wanted to express how delighted my son was after visiting Heckmondwike yesterday. He is Yr 4 currently and he spent 2 hours chatting to the teachers and pupils (who were all delightful and engaged) and he left there buzzing.
We are visiting the 2 Halifax grammars next week and I hope that we have similar experiences there. In terms of motivation and determination, my son has now seen what he is aiming for and why he needs to work hard and I dont think you can underestimate the value of a visit for showing them what their efforts are for.
