Re: answer for 2 vr questions
For the first one I think it is monkey as the others are four legged animals

Re: answer for 2 vr questions
I thought pig was out as the others are african safari type animals........ My DD also said pig but couldn't tell me why she picked it
I think sludge and scratch are the two out but not as sure as I am about previous question....DD also picked these....if we are right, I will be very excited that she figured them out

For the first, I think it's pig, as it's the only domestic animal in the list.
For the second, I think it's streak and sludge, because streak is the result of an action, not the action itself, like the other three, and sludge is not an action or the result of an action.

monkey,pig,lion,zebra,giraffe
That is pretty tough.
Monkey because it can stand upright as well as on fours
Pig because it can be perceived as being domestic
Lion as it is a true carnivore
If I had to be pushed I would go for monkey but would be worried about the pig!
Odd two out- splash,smear,streak,sludge,scratch
Smear, streak and scratch are actions that can be performed with a hand on an item
Splash - hmmm - that can be performed as well but the action is not direct, and sludge is, well, sludge. So I would go for splash and sludge being the odd ones out.

Pig - only domestic animal
Sludge/Scratch - can smear, streak and splash (eg glass) but then clean it afterwards, you can't 'sludge' something and a scratch is permanent.
TRICKY second question

Re: answer for 2 vr questions
This could go on for pages yet! Very, very ambiguous questions indeed.
Pigs can be wild as well as domestic. Giraffe, the only one with spots; Lion, the only one with a mane ... but my bet would be monkey because it is the only one that can climb.
Second one, sludge and splash.
Sludge is a thing, not an action, so that is definitely one answer.
Smear, streak and scratch are all ways of spoiling something, whereas splash isn't necessarily.

I went for the climbing one initially, but it was pointed out to me that lions can climb trees quite successfully as well!Sally-Anne wrote:This could go on for pages yet! Very, very ambiguous questions indeed.

If it were two odd ones for the animals, then the monkey and lion do not have hooves.
Hmmm - a lion is the only one with claws out of that lot - perhaps that is the reason?
Or the monkey is the only one with fingers?
Awful question!!!

Ah yes - the absence of trees in lion enclosures in zoos doesn't help. I am confident however that giraffes do not climb trees.faitaccompli wrote:I went for the climbing one initially, but it was pointed out to me that lions can climb trees quite successfully as well!
