Our school of choice uses computer based entrance exams. They tell all prospective parents that the exam will measure potential and is impossible to practice for. I don't want to naively accept this only to find out at a later date that everyone else has been prepared. Any thoughts or experience of these kinds of tests?
Any one else out there applying to Rugby? Any advice or tips? Son very laid back about it all!! (Not due to confidence but ambivalence hee hee!!!) Doing all the tests on computer which should be interesting...
Got the letter this morning! That's one less thing to worry about. It will be a long day for him though...he is due to have his first interview before midday and his last one finishes at 5pm. Of course there are exams in between this and death by lunch (!!)
We find out tomorrow whether Edward has been granted a place. Unfortunately he will be at Warwick School being interviewed by the Head there. Poor boy...
Luckily I have a kettle which steams nicely...hee hee!! Not really...

Good luck Ed's mum, hope you get the news you are hoping for today
He passed the exams and has been invited for another interview for a discretionary award - we are asking for a bursary.
We are proud parents...not got a guaranteed paid place yet though. Thanks for the support guys, yawn...
