Manor Lodge Herts, pastoral care
Hello
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to write the post as it is my first one.
I wondered if anyone has experience with this school.
My little one is very bright and has mild autism, we are looking at independent schools in the area. We attended the open day last weekend and we all really like it. Has anyone had experience with manor lodge, especially the pastoral care?
Thank you

Re: Manor Lodge Herts, pastoral care
I know a lot of students from Manor Lodge and all the parents seem very happy with the school. It feeds into Habs and St Albans and MT but if you were interested in any of the state grammars such as Latymer, QE, HBS or DAO you would need to have a tutor or prepare your student yourself. They do seem to finish late and get a lot of homework which does not seem to help them in terms of levels for the 11 plus. But pastorally it seems very strong. DG

Thank you for your reply, I'm glad the parents are happy. My main concern is the pastoral care and meeting my childs needs even though the autism is mild. It does sound like it may be a good choice for us.
Thank you
